If you make use of the Password Manager, you might want to stick with 2.26.1. I am sticking with SeaMonkey 2.26.1 until saved passwords can be used when autocomplete=off. The problem is that a bug was fixed to allow Password Manager to save passwords even when autocomplete=off, but the companion bug to use passwords when autocomplete=off was not fixed. This half-baked implementation means that the Remember Passwords extension -- which provided an excellent work-around for the combined problems -- can no longer be used.
