I have been in desktop administration a long long time, professionally. Over the course of those years I've learned a couple things. More times than not users don't do much of anything. This the reason most normal users don't even change their homepage and or default search engine.
It sounds crazy to individuals like us, but it's very very true. A quick search will back that up. While some may find a couple things a little confusing, they can post their questions on the forums. However the typical user will go off of sheer looks and perhaps a feature or two missing. In its current default state I would be surprised if it lasted a day before it was replaced with something more modern looking with some standard feature they are use to. This is not me bashing the browser, I'm trying to keep it on the desktop after install. I think the browser is great, however it sorely needs some real attention. It feels like its dying and I don't want that to happen because I think it's better than most people give it credit for, a good example of this very same problem is claws-mail. By default it looks horrible and some standard features aren't enabled, one you put a new theme on it, add a couple plugins and set it up, it is quite simply totally awesome. It used to grace our desktop as well before the switch to seamonkey. if i have typos and stuff forgive me, i don't usually look very hard before clicking send Lemon Juice wrote: > On 2015-04-11 03:48, Ronnie wrote: >> Ronnie wrote: >>> Lemon Juice wrote: >>>>> 1.
