The 30 seconds is for the user to take a deep breath and relax. If the loss
of 30 seconds makes that much of a difference to him, he probably races up
to red lights and burns rubber as he screeches to a halt. That kind of
person should rethink his life, because he can't be enjoying it.
You are a very funny man. Lol
Cycling power on any box is a PITA because they are usually tucked away and
even the outlets are behind things. The first problem is needing to cycle
power at all. That's a sign of poor software usually. The idea that you
need to count off 30 seconds before plugging it back in tells me the support
also sucks.
I recall having a new HP laser printer some 20 years ago and called support
about a problem. The first suggestion was for me to defrag my hard drive!
I realized immediately I wasn't going to get very far with them.
