I know this isn't quite SurvPC stuff, but perhaps the crew of experienced
surfers/hackers on the list know about what I'm looking for and may even know
where to find it!
I've long been a fan of utilities like FDFORMAT which will format a floppy to
the maximum that the drive will handle, not just the limit defined by DOS.
For example, I regularly format a 1.44M disk to 1701K. FDFORMAT can even be
configured to format DMF.
I've discovered that none of the utilities I know of will run under Windows
95, and that's frustrating. I've found ONE utility that works under Win95 for
extended formats, but it's a shareware utility. Since I want to use it at
work, it has to be freeware.
Any ideas, folks? Thanks!
