Here's another point of concideration: telephone bills. Most countries
(including mine) are using phone based modems to connect to remote
computerised services, including the Internet. This usually having
a telco that charge high prices attached. I've just received a few days
ago a big phone bill because I stayed connected for quite along time
for a certain week to download a really big program. And when the
paying person is in poverty, the price is even a bigger problem.
(You know, when it comes to phone bills.. sometimes downloading
the shareware will cost you more then registering. (if its a cheap
software). Strange thought, ah?)
