I don't know what to press on my computer either.  I just hit buttons until
I get into it.  Usually alt-f2, f2, alt-a, or something.  Debug will get you
into it too, but I don't remember how, off hand.  Wasn't it you who told me
how to do that?

What is zipslack?

Have you checked to see of possibly the Hd is vibrating on something?
