I have also thought about that but since some components generate heat, it
would be devilishly expensive, and there'd be condensation issues. Also,
you'd have trouble getting the cables out of the freezer without further
loss of cold and moisture introduction. I also thought about hanging it
out the winter when it's so very cold around here, that would likely work
better, but it isn't really practical. I just put it in the draught from
the window.
