On Sunday, Ben A L Jemmett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> typed:
] Might've been me... On a Phoenix, the CMOS setup can usually be reached by
] starting DEBUG and entering:
] a
] INT 19
] INT 20
] (hit enter - this is a blank line)
] g

] and then pressing F2 when it prompts.
(Typing blindly away....)
It flashed something like "Starting Caldera DR-DOS" and then cleared
the screen and said "Shutdown failure"
] ZipSlack is a distribution of Slackware Linux that a) comes in a .ZIP and b)
] fits on a Zip disk (it's about 80Mb last time I used it).
This one was updated not long ago and has kernel 2.2.6.
PS: On the 386 I have a MEdia Vision multimedia kit, with a Jazz16
sound card, and a NEC CD-ROM [forget the exact model now, but is the
one in the documentation] I tried "insmod sjcd" to try and get it
recognised but the answer was: "/somepath/sjcd.o: Device or Resource
Busy" So does anyone have any ideas on this?
