Certainly. I'm not exactly thrilled with Win98, but I kept it sealed off in
its own partition for backup purposes (some of the hardware that comes with
this Toshiba can only be used with the backup CD that comes with it); and
there are a few Windows-only programs I have to use occasionally. Oddly
enough, I preferred the earliest Win9x versions to Win3x. I remember
struggling to learn Win3x and thought it was much less elegant than Win95;
the later Win9x versions seem to have gotten far buggier with the addition
of IE (which seeks greater integration), and with all that mess irritating
me, I returned to DOS.

And remember the mysteriously missing J. Anthony Borras and his VMiX? I
guess nobody ever found out where he disappeared.

I personally multi-task in ways outside of my computer (such as my mind, the
piano, mundane chores, etc.) more than with the computer itself. What sort
of tasks do you perform with your computer that you feel you must do them
simultaneously? Perhaps you're working professionally with your system(s)
and I'm not...?
