Nice idea, but AFAIK, command.com can't do a format, and that's all that
DIR shows on his drive.  Highly unlikely that format.com would be there but
hidden.  We'll just have to try it out.
if that doesn't work, we can attach his floppy onto my machine and format
with it, I suppose.
