Outlook or Outlook Express? There's a difference. I know Outlook Express
can be put into the Restricted zone so it doesn't run embedded scripts, but
then Outlook Express can't be scripted ('to be scripted' means to be put
under the control of a macro - Outlook Express has no macro support, no VBA
support, although it will interpret scripts in HTML).
Outlook itself, OTOH, can be scripted (i.e. a macro in another application -
Word, Excel, CorelDRAW, Windows Scripting Host - can open Outlook and
control it). That behaviour may, or may not, be optional.
