Joe User doesn't like computers. So Joe User leaves his job where he has to
work with computers, to try and find somewhere he doesn't. However, Joe
User may have a hard time doing that, so he's forced to start working with
computers. Fine.
Dave Manager likes Windows. Dave Manager decides he want shis department or
company to use Windows. Joe User, therefore, is forced to use Windows,
otherwise he has to go out looking for yet another job where he may have to
work with computers but not Windows. Again, Joe has a hard time doing that,
because all the Dave Managers of the world are pushing Windows and saying
'you work here, you use Windows'. So Joe is forced to use Windows.
IOW, the set of people who choose to use Windows != the set of people who
are forced to use Windows. You can most certainly have it both ways, but
not for the same people.
