Dial-in, not telnet only, so all you need is a terminal
program, right? I don't know how many people have used
a good old-fashioned dial-in unix shell account, but
for some people, it's really all they need.

Cheap maybe, but I wouldn't count on any of the free
ISP's, if you're using DOS. (1nol is down again). You
probably want your primary Internet access to be very
reliable, even if you have to pay a bit more for it.

Much more than $20?

Maybe if you told us why you need a shell account and
why you need a ppp account, we can help out a bit more.

As far as free telnet shell accounts go, they're a
different kind of "free" than the free ISP's and
free email providers.
