Balderdash!! (not for lack of a better word, mind you ;-p ) For those
of us peons who do not have nor can afford "constant" internet
connections, this "feature" of integration is a pain in the...
I am running Win98, and Netscape has been, and will likely always be my
preferred browser. That might make me a wee bit biased, I agree. But, to
say that having the internet shoved in my face whenever the computer
"decides" that I want internet access is not my cup of tea. I will TELL
MY computer when, and where and for how long I want to access the
internet, and I am more than happy to continue to do so!!
And, as for the "integration" part, you have been totally snookered
and taken in my Microsoft. There is NO reason for such integration
other than to put competing internet browsers out of business. And, I
have NEVER had ANY difficulty in running Windows explorer or several
programs while I am online with Netscape. I neither need nor use nor
understand the wasteful purpose of programs such as Outlook Express.
They seem to exist only to allow someone to access a computer which has
a "constant" connection to the internet. You can KEEP MS integration,
and overbloat, and I will patiently bide my time until something better
comes along. And it IS coming.... -Dean Dancey
