Dean:

I am really glad when someone jumps in and cuts through the Micro$oft
marketing hype that is used as training information when you are
taught the Micro$oft way of doing things. :-)

We now have ADSL at the office. We are expanding our office network to
include a firewall and web server. I can assure you that their will be
a "place for Micro$oft Windoze" operating systems and applications.
However, it will not be our primary file & print server nor firewall
nor web server operating system/application.

Every manufacturer of every technology product wants the "newbies" to
think they invented their wonderful technology without dependency on
prior knowledge nor the need for dependency on anyone elses technology.
However, in the PC computer industry Micro$oft has rarely invented
anything; they simply have been far superior at their version of
marketing = which has been know as unethical business practices and
illegal contractual requirements - including their Micro$oft Certified
technicians training program.

If ANYONE has ever used a mature operating system that is UNIX derivative,
then they truly know what a pain in the Balderdash all the "integrated
bells & whistles are in the Micro$oft way of doing things"...

IMO Internet Explorer and Outlook Express were put on this earth so
malicious hackers can have a place to test their virus coding
experiments.
