Pippi, 98lite does much more than unintegrate IE. It allows you to
remove all kinds of crap that probably is of no use to a lot of people.
How about Win 3.1 files, that are 32 bit, but will only do 8.3
filenames? What is the point of those. I removed all of them from my
computer, with the exception of File Manager, but I had to use another
program to make it do LFNs. Also, getting rid of all of the extra
stuff.... including web integration, speed things up, letting you use
W98 on a lower end PC is you wish :-)

I guess I don't understand the above. If I want to browse files, I use
Windows Explores. If I want to browse HTML, I use Netscape. If I want
to do both, I click back and forth between the two.

I guess I didn't know I couldn't type in a path. I had hidden the tool
bar in the 98 explorer already, before I switched to the 95 version.

Because Microsoft politics affects the way my computer runs. It's not a
convenience to be asked, "Where do you want to go today?" When the
"correct" reply is something like, "Where would you like us to go today,
and how?"
