Try 'find -name mc /' as root; it'll find it. It'll probably be in /usr
somewhere; /usr/bin perhaps, but it depends on distro and installation.

Wouldn't expect there to be. '.mc' is a hidden directory, and if it's ~/.mc
then it'll be where mc stores your user configuration files.
The manual for mc should be in the mc tarball (or package, or whatever) or on
the web.
