I downloaded catdoc~.gz and neither WinZip nor my DOS version of
TAR can uncompress it.  There was an older ZIP archive there that
I will now try. :-\

Point being those who are kind enough to release their code for others
to use should be made aware they do not need to chase the 'bleeding edge'
in compression algorithms?  This is one reason BBS long ago agreed to use
Pkzip v2.04g as the standard archiver rather than force users to chase
after each new release of Pkzip.

This would also apply to BasicLinux or any other legacy release of *nix
archives in the future?
