In the same way of thinking, the user should be able to read the help of every package also in different languages...

Currently to change the language of the help, a user has to type
SET LANG=NEW_LANGUAGE
CHCP REQUIRED_CODEPAGE
HELP

I don't think it is that complicated, since the user has to prep everything codepage-related anyway if he wants to be able to use different languages on his system.

This page is also available in: [EN] [DE] [FR] [PL]

I would propose something simpler:

"This is a translation of the english documentation and might not be up to date. Type HELP EN to consult the english version when in doubt."

But of course this does not make any sense when displayed on the web... Maybe it could be reworded in some more generic way.

Unrelated, but still about footers: maybe the translated articles could all have some small footer that says who translated the page, like it is in Linux man pages?
