I wish I had a good answer, so am contemplating having students do comparisons of several as a class project. Perhaps some of you have some ideas.
The ones I'm currently thinking of throwing into the mix for evaluation are: Opera Dragonfly Firefox/Firebug Mozilla/SeaMonkey HTMLKit oXygen notepad++ Aptana Studio Nvu TextPad Eclipse Inkscape (has XML mode) Others??
