The "hi-res" version if Zak that you have is the FM Towns (Japanese PC "Console") 256 color version that is playable on the SCUMM emulator. I do own a shrinkwrapped copy of this one. I do believe the "enhanced" maniac mansion is the one from DOTT as it was not released on the FM Towns.
