I've done a little bit of research and sought out some direction. Lucas: Does this direction meet your original objectives?
Mike: My new understanding is that the LGPL IS compatible with Symfony. Bernhard: I really like the idea of an sf: tag namespace, we should look at how this can be made to work. * After having my mistaken idea about how the Symfony license works, I withdraw my LGPL objection and will be looking into PHPTal, specifically, as well as other engines mentioned by Bernhard and others. * It seems that Symfony 1.2 will have a refactored view plugin system. Over the next few days, I'll post the plugin work that I've done with Flexy so everyone can take a look. I'll also show where we had problems, and maybe you can help to fix some of those.
