After a lot messages and great opinions a made my own opinion better.
 - PHP is very usefull as template language, but isn't so clean.
 - A simple port of genshi/phptal or whatever will require some work to
integrate as well with symfony, and now I haven't time do that.
 - Symfony itself cannot force developers to use a template system, but
alternatively as a plugin that can be easily enabled

Anyway this thread help me a lot to get some others perspectives and can be
starting a new template/view plugin as I see in last posts.
