Agreed, that doesn't look right. I would expect it to use a layout that doesn't allow elements to overlap. However, I am not familiar enough with GTK to diagnose or fix this. > This could be fixed by shorter French > translations (Could I help there? -- BTW, the notification messages that > pop up before and after an auto sync are always in English). Yes, help with translating SyncEvolution would be welcome. It used to be translated for Moblin by Intel, but that effort is mostly dormant nowadays. I wonder whether I can get existing translation efforts to look at it. For example, GNOME has a section for "freedesktop.org" projects (http://l10n.gnome.org/languages/fr/freedesktop-org/ui/), but SyncEvolution did not automatically become a part of that and I don't know where to ask to get it included, nor how this would work in practice. > While I'm at it, you'll notice that the second "action" button has > centered text in it, whereas the last one is left-justified. That looks like an oversight. A "<property name="justify">center</property>" in ui.xml resp. ui3.xml should fix this. Should be doable for 1.3.2 without introducing any risk of breakage. > Forgive me for being so finicky... I just think that Syncevolution is a > great piece of software that deserves a flawless GUI! Thanks for reporting these problems! Every little bit counts. -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ SyncEvolution mailing list [email protected] http://lists.syncevolution.org/listinfo/syncevolution
