the only other solution would be to find a disk file that I can use in
DOS from a PC.  I found one system6.dsk file but it errors out as
well.  So I think the image may be bad.

well i mean that the error had to be something simple that the apple
drives do the pc drives don't do.  Because it had nothing to do with
writing data or it would have of had a different error.

off I go on the search.... sick isn't it, this is half the fun, once i
get it running I won't care anymore.
