We currently have a Verizon prepay. We got it nearly 2 years ago BEFORE they started the 99 Cent access fee. So we get 50 (100 nights & weekends) minutes a month for $15, with an auto check being drawn out of our account. Believe it or not, that number of minutes is more than we need. We hardly ever use our cell phone, just a few momentary calls a week.
Anyway, we are going to need a 2nd phone for three weeks. My daughter will take the Verizon phone to Lawrence, Kansas with her. And our home is in Columbus, GA. When she returns we'll let the Verizon phone die out and keep the new phone. We are on a tight budget. We just need a basic phone, no bells and whistles.
