No offense but you must be one of those reps that have told me such nonsense as there's never been unlimited MMS (back before the new any message plans) or you can't receive faxes on your phone or voicemail, you can only use T-Mobile Phones, you can't use your phone to send faxes. I don't blame you, I blame your trainers and supervisors for not keep the company's people in the loop.
Roaming for prepaid is very much active in many parts of the country and growing all the time. I've known people who have already used it.
