There appears to be a lot of misunderstandings and accusations going
back and forth on ths topic. I hope I can help clarify.

T-Mobile To Go DOES offer roaming on the Cingular 1900mhz system.
Nowhere in T-Mobile's internal information system does it refer to
any roaming on anyone's 850mhz system. When the announcement was
made in mid-May that some roaming was being made available, it was
clearly stated that it would be only on Cingular 1900. Internally
there is also word that T-Mobile to Go can roam on a system called
Simmetry in central IL. I have not tried that, so cannot speak to
it.

I have personally used a T-Mobile to Go phone on Cingular's 1900
system in Madison, WI. I was able to receive calls, and make and
receive text messages, but due to what engineering says is a
misprogrammed LEC, I was unable to make calls. They are working on
that and I will be testing it again next week.

The additional coverage made a big difference here in Wisconsin, and
probably the biggest difference is the Carolinas are now covered for
T-Mobile to Go customers. The new footprint IS included in the
coverage area for the new kidConnect hybrid postpaid/prepaid product
as well.

If you have questions about coverage in a specific area, I suggest a
call to Customer Care. Ask them to look up the area in question on
the Interactive Coverage Map, specifying you want to know about
prepaid coverage. They can apply filters that will show the
coverage clearly.

Hope this helps.
