I have just bought a mini inkle loom which might do the trick. I haven't
opened the box yet, but the length (of the major pieces of wood) can not be
more than 12" as that's the length of the box. I got it from my local yarn
shop; it is made by a company in Vermont called Good Wood. It's not cheap,
however. I paid $50.
