When I first learned tablet weaving, from Mary Atwater's "Byways in
Handweaving", I was working in a small mountain village in Mexico. I wove
backstrap-style, tied up to a tree in the village, tied to a chair while
waiting in bus stops, and sitting on the floor with the warp tied to the
leg of a bed. But have never tried weaving in a really confined space such
as an airline seat. It will be interesting to hear what people suggest
for this. I don't suppose you could pin the end of the warp to the seat in
front of you...?
