Well that is indeed a strange thing. As I do only have "secondary"
illustrations on tablet weaving (e.g. in your book Nancy or TTW) it is
hard for me to see details on these illustrations. But it is a very
interesting point you mention - as far as I read up to now, most (or
even all?) tablet founds very 4-sided (either rectangular or even
square). The only thing I could remember (I am not an expert in the
historical aspects of TW) are 4-sided tablet with a variety of holes,
mentioned in TTW, while most of 4-sided tablets found have 4 holes. 

Do I understand that topic right? - On the one hand, historic
illustrations show seldom 4-sided tablets, on the other hand, most
archeological findings are woven with 4-sided tablets?
