It's not exactly beautiful, but it's small, portable, and gets the job done: the Surf Board. I bought it at Convergence the first year it was offered (2000? 2002?), and have used it ever since. Here's what I like about it: the way it tensions the warp, the fact that the warp can be any length you want, and the fact that you can tension without winding onto a beam. I used to have the small Heritage TW loom (they are no longer in business), but I didn't care for it, specifically b/c you had to "beam" the warp just the way you would for a much wider warp on a floor loom. I found that this didn't work at all well for the typically narrow bands I was creating w/ tablets.
