I spent hours if not days pondering the opening 5 paragraphs of my Tablet Weave book; trying to condense the basics into as few and as clear words as possible. If you thought them suitable for Wikipedia, I am very willing for them to be used; or perhaps be the starting point of a new generally-agreed description, Or are they a little too technical? Is one writing for someone who already knows about normal weaving.... Or for a complete stranger to textiles? I don't think Wikipedia shows pictures.. But they can be referred to.
