Im Prinzip koennte man das Pferd genauso gut andersrum aufzaeumen:

und status=construction/used/disused/...
ginge ja auch

railway=construction/rail/tram/disused/...
landuse=greenfield/construction/residential/brownfield/...
mit
construction=rail/tram/primary/residential fuer kuenftiges inc. geplant
(alternati: future=...) oder
former=rail/... fuer ehemaliges
Dann ginge auch highway=cycleyway former=rail
construction=primary/residential/... wird ja tw. schon verwendet...
Datumsreihen sind aber noch offen, ob so oder so...
date01=rail:planned:1895
date02=rail:construction:1899
...
mehrere date=.. geht wohl nicht?
