Indeed, just like bike rack.  But (most) bike racks are more obvious; the only way I'd spot somewhere designed for tying up horses is the presence of a horse.

I have actually logged in to map a hitching post - and found it already there; another pub I know has one (actually a rail) but it's not mapped, not clear on imagery, and I can't remember exactly where.


And just like with bikes, somewhere suitable but not specially designed wouldn't be obvious at all and a friendliness tag coudl handle that case
