Well, my laptop has a full-size keyboard; so, on the NumPad, I turn off the NumLock and use the 0 key as the Insert key. I'd only need to use the CapsLock as a modified Insert key if my laptop DOES NOT have regular computer keyboard. In essence, whether on a laptop, or on a desktop computer, I always use the default desktop keyboard setting.
