I've notice that this video driver problem is intermittent. It is
certainly disconcerting when it happens, because that means that I have
to restart, and hope that it will be the charm.

All I know is that the last four Windows 10 insider previews and the
latest Creator Edition produce video errors each time Window-eyes
launches, which in turn causes Window-eyes not to read many active
windows in various applications: no cursor or mouse, just blank lines.
Certain applications, including most Windows settings, still read
better with Window-eyes than Jaws, but until the video driver
situation can be worked around, I suspect I'll always encounter these
non reading screens, including Eudora, Microplanet Gravity, parts of
Office, etc.
