Hi temans kawan baru kita ini dia tanya, begini: Sekarang dia lagi ngurusin tugas akhirnya tapi ada beberapa masalah ketika memulainya, antara lain tentang: Penggunaan fetchmail dan procmail di Linux. Dia udah nyiapin file2 yang diperluin seperti .procmailrc dan .fetchmailrc tapi tetap bermasalah. Pertanyaannya: 1. Setelah dia nyiapin "~/.procmailrc", "~/.forward" dan "~/.fetchmailrc" dia tuliskan "|exec /usr/bin/procmail" di file "~/.forward". Trus nyoba send email ke alamat dia sendiri tapi emailnya malah dibalikin lagi. Errornya antara lain bahwa sendmail tidak support perintah "|exec/usr/bin/procmail" di file "~/.forward". - Apakah ini memang benar-benar menjadi bermasalah? - Atau karena versi terbaru dari sendmail tidak memperbolehkan forwarding? 2. Anda tahu kan tentang fetchmail? Ketika gue login sebagai root katanya, dia ketikkan "exec fetchmail" tiba-tiba layar tancapnya jadi blank seperti tidak terjadi apa-apa. Trus dia nyoba login sebagai user A, ketik lagi "exec fetchmail", dia jalan dan mulai lakukan pengecekkan lalu download email dari pop3 server. - Nah, apakah dalam kasus ini fetchmail tidak bisa jalan dengan menggunakan root? 3. Nomor tiga terwakili dengan pertanyaan no. 2 (ah dasar bikin cape gue :)). Nah begitu katanya temans. Tarengkyu atas bantuannya. Tapi ini pertanyaan teh tentang Linux atau Fetchmail sih.
