Was re-roofing my wellhouse over the weekend and managed to dig into my left index finger tip with the phillips bit on my 18V drill. I had considerable weight on the drill getting a screw started when the screw fell over and the drill bit ended up on the finger. The cut is only a little more than 1/8 inch, and not exactly where the strings land, but the whole finger is stiff, sore and not very mobile. So I'm relearning a bunch of tunes using the other 3 fingers for a gig Friday. I've heard that playing without your index finger is good thing to do to strengthen your pinky, but unfortunately, I'd never spent much time doing it. The gig's at a brewery so I hope they'll all be pleasantly buzzed by the time we start.
Take care of those hands, folks. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Taterbugmando" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
