I'm with Kevin on this since I'm an IMAP user and the last official v2
release has pretty bad IMAP bugs, bugs that just about drove *me* away
from using TB!. The last few 2.13 betas have not been bad from an IMAP
perspective and with NFS support disabled, v2.13 beta/7 and 8 represent
TB! with the best IMAP support it has ever offered. Not to say that there
still aren't problems.

I'd be really upset for users if the next official release were a v3, with
the last v2 released being left so buggy in fundamental ways for IMAP. The
two main bugs I'm referring to are the Invalid HTML errors and the
disruption of the IMAP message list when new messages are added while
browsing. At least leave a version 2 that will not drive the IMAP user
crazy while trying to simply read their mail.

It's sort of upsetting that we now upgrade to get bug fixes, rather than
new features.

- Importing messages to an IMAP folder is still only added to the local
cache with messages not being uploaded to the server.

- moving large amounts of messages from IMAP to local or other accounts
IMAP folder is still problematic with hangs occuring in the middle of the
process.

- filtering is still lack lustre. It works in some sort of a way but it's
really flaky in operations.

- the server side outbox remains a problem to work with.

- lack of new message notifications/alerts

These are all pretty basic problems for an IMAP user. I've grown very
tolerant of them, but was hoping for fixes before having to pay more.
<sigh>
