Not common doesn't necessarily mean difficult.  After all,
the program draw the button I'm clicking in the correct
location and is informed the location of my click itself.
Why did the programmer add EXTRA code to 'disbelieve' the
coordinates it had and was told in favor of ones that are
sometimes WRONG?  I suspect that if the programmer of that
component has just used the info given, it would've worked
fine.  Instead, additional code was added to test for a
condition that is not an error and "correct" it.  <sigh>
