I agree. And this minor problem would probably take a decent
programmer about five minutes to sort out. So why hasn't it been
gotten to yet or at least acknowledged (which would probably take less
time than fixing it)?

I fully agree that there are much bigger problems with TB. The fact is
that there are probably a lot of people who question the importance of
the entire 3.5 series. The fact is that the 3.5 series is more about
GUI than IMAP or HTML, and those are probably fairly low on most of
our beta testers' priority list. Nevertheless, and for what it's
worth, my problem is a lowly GUI problem. My problem is something that
got broken - for the first time - in this 3.5 series. And my problem
is something that should be fixed in this 3.5 series.
