Uh-oh! Avi will not like this one bit. Let me do it for him. He's not complaining about the CC being in the background during an auto-check. He's complaining about the CC being in the background during manual checks. Manual checks that are triggered in a particular way. Manual checks that are triggered by selecting the specific account to be checked via the little drop down list on the 'Receive New Mail' toolbar button.
