UPX simply doesn't support compressing executables with digital
signatures in them yet.  It could strip those signatures out, since
they'd become invalid anyway, but until now this feature has not been
implemented.

I've even checked the UPX CVS repository, but the piece of code that
shows this error message is unchanged with respect to the current
release version, 1.25.  So you'll have to wait until someone wants to
fix this, or fix it yourself. :)
