RIT changed stuff without informing the beta > testers, duh. Well, I got my strange box right after fooling around in Customise. But all I did was attempt to add an icon to the Quick Search toolbar--which did not get added. And I probably lost my tbuser.def when I was testing the effect of installing 3.70.07 over 3.65.01. By which I confirmed Alex. of Slovakia's report that this order of installation will result in the loss of customised shortcuts. Probably by erasing the tbuser.def file. Or that's my working theory at the moment.
