In office email I've yet to get a list larger than what I can see in the
window. Any larger and we set up a mailing list.

I don't need big icons either. I don't like the tabs idea since there
isn't a tab that I know of elsewhere in Windows that allows people to RMB for
a context menu. Need that for saving attachments. Tabs are pretty much view
only. I'd personally be content with just a detailed list view.
