First .. Bouviers ROCK!

Okay .. that is out of my system (i have wanted to do that since i
first saw you join this list.

Now .. to me quoting the subject is less important than quoting the
text.  Of course my point of view comes from the multitude of
'programming' lists/emails i deal with in a day.  Quite often the
subject line has little to do with the 'topic' and can be confusing
for refreshment.  Plus as noted earlier the subject is repeated in the
'Subject' part of the header.

What I find important is a) the inclusion of all 'relevant' text
(quite often all text as in some cases trimming can lose important
bits) and b) placing new comments at the beginning.  Since most
eclinets can 'preview' you can scroll through messages and read newest
bits without having to go into the message body.

Unless it is from someone long winded (or is that opinionated :-)
like myself.
