Hi Christian,

          On Saturday, October 28, 2000 16:42:52 +0200 in
reference to "Placing subjects in introductions"
          you write:

CG> [...] IMO it's just unnecessary repetition of
CG> information already available in the subject header.

So I guess its safe to say that we have a
difference of opinion. In my earlier post, I went
          on to say:

>> What I really find confusing [...] is that [...] one can
>> easily lose track of who said what to whom. For the
>> convenience of my readers, I have a cursor positioner
>> that adds my initials so there's less confusion.

CG> But why do you add so many whitespaces? When I reply to
CG> one of your messages, I always adjust them to the left
CG> first. This isn't very convenient either... ;)

Again, I think it's a matter of style. I place the
quoted text to the left with an indented response
to differentiate one from the other. You don't
have to adjust it to the left so if it's
inconvenient, don't bother. IMO it'll read ok.

OTOH, perhaps I do have too much white space & I
may consider reducing it but I think indenting
makes for a more readable dialogue. Have a nice
          wknd.
