Does no one here ever return to the trash can, take another look before trashing and find they are retrieving something? I am impressed! <grin>
Seriously, I trash and purge at night before shutting down. I generally take a quick look at what is there before dumping the trash. The "empty trash" has been in every other mail program I have ever used, so it can't be *all* bad. I also scan/defrag the computer, but I manually set it in and do not use automatic settings.
