Yeah, an unfortunate mistake. :-( E> Thus, I fully understand what the person's computer-intermediate E> mother might have done. I admin a mailing list of about 1500 E> computer-genealogy newbies. I don't think that's why Gates has his money but that's another story inappropriate to this forum. :-) TB! is quite user friendly but more suited to the advanced user. There's no one program for everyone and that's the beauty of choice and diversity. I was just looking at OE (so long since I opened the thing) and there's one way that I could find for emptying the trash (deleted items) folder. You right click the folder and hit the Empty deleted items folder item (identical to TB!). You cannot do the same with any other folder. Why? Because of the userbase. TB!'s userbase wouldn't tolerate that stifled functionality ... which supposedly exists in the interest of human error. It's all give and take. With increased functionality comes complexity and increased user responsibility. Some companies aptly attack this very real issue by offering multiple versions for different user types like basic, standard and pro versions. TB! does come in different flavours but only with respect to security models. In those other flavours, it's even more complex. It's clearly not being marketed for the very basic user and I don't blame the company since the basic user has multiple options at their disposal, many of which are free of cost. - -- - -=Allie C Martin=- [List Moderator] PGP/GPG Public Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=2B0717E2 _____________________________________________ TB! v1.60f on Windows XP 5.1.2600 ` -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iEYEARECAAYFAjzEjkUACgkQV8nrYCsHF+KHEQCg8r+5g8r6vzmZy2R82swJQvGs Mj0An0M9Dmv9UF9i6T4NnSFSgNoU7LUk =Nw1M -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60c FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
